Hi Pankaj,

I did somethig similar. First built an image with Java2D, u can use text and
images, then built an jpeg file and sent this jpeg file in a mail. I wrote
the image bytes on a file but may you can write this bytes into your
response.
I used a package for generating the jpeg file that is not part of any java
"official" site, but it works. You can search for "generating jpeg files in
java" and it's sure you can find it.

Good look

hi,
Can someone tell me how to generate a image in a servlet and send it as
part of the response.
Based on some data that i get from the data base i want to convert the
textual data into a image and display that. (the data to be displayed is in
form of a table i.e. rows and columns)

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Pankaj
