I recommend the Marty Hall book.  A very good book.
I also purchased Professional JSP : Using JavaServer Pages, Servlets, EJB -
and don't recommend it. (It's just 'ok').

Don't know your level but perhaps, Core Servlets and JavaServerPages by
Marty Hall, Prentice Hall will more than likely suit your needs.
