Hello Friends,
As i was setting up my system to learn about servlets,
the following error was encountered by me when i tried
to start tomcat 3.2.3
following is the command
C:\servlet_sample\jakarta-tomcat-3.2.3\bin>startup

Unable to set CLASSPATH dynamically.
Note: To set the CLASSPATH dynamically on Win9x
systems
only DOS 8.3 names may be used in TOMCAT_HOME!
