This is incorrect. The error involved cursors, not connections. You MUST properly close your cursors and make far fewer of them than I bet you are.

 

Are we a bit off topic here? You would probably be better served checking the JDBC community.

It's enough to close the DB connection, but it is not the best practise....

Close all the connections in ur program
You can also increase the max number of connections
in DB Server.

Make sure you close every statement you create (and every connection you make
to your database). That may do the trick.
