If you're using Tomcat, you might want to check the
Tomcat mail archives. I seem to remember some discussion
of memory leaks a while back (but I don't remember whether
it turned out to be issues with user code or Tomcat itself)

 http://jakarta.apache.org/site/mail.html

If you're not using Tomcat, have you checked your vendor's
bug report lists? Are you using 3rd party libraries that might
have leaks in them? I wouldn't get too hopeful, though, leaks
generally turn out to be a user problem.

Other than some very general advice (make sure to close()
all your jdbc statements, etc), it's hard to make any
recommendations without seeing your code.
