Hi!
Assuming that you r working with apachee for the first time.
you run the installer and after installing apachee, there will be a root
directory called as apachee
under that directory go to conf->httpd.conf file
this is a configuration file in that specify a parmeter
ServerName http:\\ip of server.
after you have done that you can go to command prompt and say apachee start
your webserver starts,
and you can work further.
