I know this sounds dumb, but I've just read ch. 12 of the servlets 2.3 specs., Security, and I must say, I don't understand a thing. I don't know, is it me? Or is it the document? Or don't I have the necessary background? Can you point me to any other references that might expalin the security concepts in this new version of the servlets specification, but in a more understandable manner?
