Hi,
I want to know how to run a servlet in the tomcat 3.2.3 engine...
What r the entries to be made and where?.. I created my own directory and in
that WEB-INF and WEB-INF\classes and placed an example web.xml file in the
WEB-INF folder... I kept some html and jsp files, which are running very
well but I am not able to run servlets... I want to know what are the
entries that r to be made for the servlet to run... And also one more
question... I am accessing my directory from the browsing by entering
http://localhost/xxx ("xxx" is folder name, running both apache and
tomcat).. How can I make this xxx folder the root directory for the
localhost and how to host sites in the apache/tomcat? What needed to be done
for this? Thanks in advance for the answers...
