Hi anoop,
All the browsers in the network are java enabled. Also we should not expect every client to be installed java runtime. Some clients in the network may not have the java runtime. What is the solution for this?.

Note:One system has everything installed(including java runtime) eventhough the applet was loaded very slow on that system. Initially jdk1.2 was installed in that system. Then we changed to jdk1.3. After this, the applet was loaded fast on that system. The reason for slow is we downloaded Java Plug-in1.3 but jdk1.2 was installed on that system.
Then we changed the Plug-in1.3 to 1.1. After this also the case is same in other machines(ie loading fast, slow and not at all loaded in some machines).

Thanks
Rgds.,
Raja

the machine where it is running should have a java enabled browser and also a java runtime at least installed.
Check if you are getting any error messages in the java console....??

Subject: Speed problem while using JApplet.

HI all,
I am using Japplet(Swing) as the front end and using Servlets in the middle tier. I am displaying the applet on the browser using Java  Plug-in. The problem i am facing is, While accessing the applet on different systems in the network(displayed on the browser), it is fast on some machines and slow on some machines and in some machines it is not at all displayed.
