Dear All, Since logging on servlet-interest I was invited by a woman at yellow pages for a job interview. She can be found in Reading in the UK. She asked me only two questions :- Do I know anything about polymorhism ? Do I know anything about Concurrency in servlets. When I posted the question marked as "This is a beginner question you can delete it if you like". The senario I presented was I created a directory then I created a sub directory and I had a ClassdefnotfoundError. Christen Keiple wrote Polymorphism is a funny thing isn't it. She/He knows it is polymorhism but doesn't know the error message. Somebody who also had experience of JDK 1.0 which comes with versata, told somebody else that I have two JVMs sitting on the same machine. What they meant was two JVMs of different versions. The woman at yellow pages obviously turned me down for the job because I pretended I knew nothing or if I did I couldn't say anything. All she wanted to know was if I did know about the two above mentioned issues. She then went on to say that they have their work done in India. It is quite obviously what she was after. Personality issues , clashes and company loyalty. I asked only one question, do you give training in response to her questions. I believe beyond any doubt what so ever that she had her own agenda based on my cultural background. when she felt I did not meet it the culrural criteria she turned me down. The fact that the employment agency sent me there means that I was obviously marked for a certain type of work. The name of the employment agency is spring.com I believe these are hidden agends of some of these companies. The fact that I was in the processes of leaving logsys obviously shows my views about versata. I made a personal rejection for other reasons apart from their servlets. I was also asked by another company in Bracknell who also has a base in Cambridge questions directly related to Versata and if I know. The lynx person has stated that I know all the concepts. I picked up a book to my liking which answers my questions in the absence of professional training. May I remind people that it takes thousands if not hundred of man years to pick up the concepts further more I know exactly what he is referring to. Soma Chowdry If you menat I have tried it and tested come and work for me and implement an interface. Send me the details to the email address below. If you want me to implement an interface I will be happy to do. I will be happy to return to IT to work with you. I feel that the woman from yellow pages should either compensate me or she can provide tools to the standard as the ones I have. It was her agenda to Judge me by the tools therefore she should be Judged on the same grounds. The grounds being that the tools she has provided to her employer for their business after all it is her position to provide tools as she is the manager. The same goes for Apptegrity who thinks I am a junior. Because they are ignorant. Apptegrity should write their own tools and train their own staff on them. Incidently they went for weblogic. We know all about Weblogic (interface) but they want free information from people they are not willing to respect or pay for. I was told about weblogic by a spanish person. I have known about INFORMIX for many years. I went for these practices ever since I worked at bytel and that Database expert who also knew networks. Just like me now. He was the top five in the world hence such a turn over. It is my personal wish Glen Mclusky and anybody else that until the woman from yellow pages compensates me that you deny her as she denied me along with the employment agency spring.com also be boycotted for carrying out such practices.
