course, but since the Matthias mentioned no js is allowed, it inevitably means
that when selecting a month, the day list cannot get updated to show 28, 29, 30
or 31 days unless initiating an in-between submit - which is a hassle
for the user, besides for being a pain in the a--e for the developer (speaking
for myself, of course).
In this case I would skip the
entire headache and check the date correctness upon submit. Sometimes it is
okay to "educate" your users to enter the data correctly, especially when it is
something as common as date entry, and provided that you provide an
understandable error message (as opposed to a NullPointerException or
ParseException followed by a stack trace...).
