Leon, I think your problem has to do with installing Tomcat into a directory with spaces in the name. Try moving you second quote to after the 4 in Tomcat i.e. set CLASSPATH="C:\Program Files\Apache Tomcat 4".0\common\lib\servlet.jar Just a thought, Rich
