just because it's a jsp's output doesn't make this quetion a
servlet/jsp-related question, I'm sure there are eLists for javascript, as
well, i think you'll get better/faster answers abt sripting there.
but here's an idea: if you use css to positionate your html elements you
don't need to get those values, because you set them before!
