1. No problems.
2. Since servelts are written in Java they get to use the rest of the Java architecture, which includes JDBC for database connectivity.

Subject: Just Getting Started

I am in first stages of evaluation of Servlets, so please excuse my basic questions.

1. Do servlets create any problems using SSL?  (HTTPS)
2. Can servlets access SQL databases, ie are there classes to support MySQL or other SQL APIs?

Thanks, promise won't send a bunch of these.

Frank
