I've stumbled or ANT a couple of times but never really figured out what it really is. Can someone give me a clue on that by not telling me it's a build tool. So what exactly is a build tool? Why do I need one whe I can compile eveything i write with javac, either explicit och implicit by using some fancy IDE?
