 The idea is not to quote the entire original message,
but instead only quote the relevant bits. Some of the
better class of mailing list automatically reject email
that has more quoted than original content.

 Think of message size restrictions not as a limit,
but as a spur to your creativity and professionalism.

 OBLIG SERVLET: re Basic Authentication thing, you're
right. Browsers do indeed just keep sending the
authentication over and over again. So you're on the
right track handling it on your own.
