One possibility is to use the built-in session mechanism to identify the user, but have a second mechanism to identify the user's particular shopping spree. Have a button that says "clear this cart" and another one that says "clear this cart in this window only", and then use the standard pre-servlets session tracking mechanisms like hidden form params, custom url's, etc. But in this case, I suspect using the built-in session tracking with url-rewriting would be pretty much what you want. -- Christopher St. John [EMAIL PROTECTED] DistribuTopia http://www.distributopia.com ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
