Title: RE: IIS 5.0 and JSP-servlet container.
Hi

Nobody other than IIS understands ASP technology. Both come from MICROSOFT.

So, when you want to use both JSP's and ASP's , then you are left with only one option of using IIS.
Use IIS plugged in with NewAtlanta's Servlet Exec or other equivalent product to serve JSP pages.
Use IIS alone to server ASP pages.

   Hope this helps you.

Hi

IIS by itself doesn't support servlet and JSP.

There is a plug in called New Atlantas Servlet Exec(Trial version is
available).
This plug in will serve JSP and servlet pages requested by the browser to
IIS. The learning curve for this plug-in is very easy. It make take around 1
or 2 hrs.

You can also use Webserver (IPlanet etc.,) or  App Server(Weblogic,
Websphere etc.,)
 to do this job.

 Hope this helps you!
