When I make repeated GET request to my servlet from the same browser window, I get the same session ID as expected. But when I do a POST request from the same window I get a new session ID. I don't understand why the POST is causing a new session to be created. Is it supposed to work this way? I'm new to this so what am I missing here? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
