I read Kay's first edition and liked it so much I bought the second edition and though I haven't read it cover-to-cover, it's a fantastic reference.

What can I say?  I was a liberal arts major...I love books.

Continuing with the XSLT topic, my recommendation is Khun Yee Fung's "XSLT Working with XML and HTML"  which is very thorough and interesting to read if Mark is looking for another book to add to his book list:-)

Regards,

Rita

On the XSLT topic, I recommend Michael Kay's book, XSLT: A Programmer's
Reference. While it doesn't focus on any paticular deployment, there is a
Xalan appendix. What I like about it is that it is a fairly thorough
reference book.

You'll find the best price (I think) at http://www.bookpool.com, 33% off
list price.

Is that really 2001?  I believe the first edition is 2000, and it
doesn't look like there's a second edition (according to O'Reilly's
web pages).

Anybody have anything to say about Web Development with JavaServer
Pages, by Duane Fields and Mark Kolb, published by Manning?  (I'm more
interested in the second edition, which came out late last year.)
Thanks.

Now we know Mark spends all his time reading Java books :-).
