I know...but I wanted to know if around there is some driver
that can increase the performance.

I have used JDBC-ODBC bridge to connect Access
database. I am not sure if Microsfot made a pure java
driver for Access. By guessing I do not think so.
Anyway, the JDBC-ODBC bridge works well.
