>>> Is this book enough for a person to learn about Servlets and JSP right from the basics to the most advanced?

I got the book Mark mentioned – it’s one of my favorites.

The book has been reviewed on Amazon by about 200 people – and has a near perfect rating.

The book is NOT a Computer Science 101 book.  It assumes you have software development experience. However – with Servlets & JSP’s – it starts from the beginning and moves well – does a great job with providing the right information at the right time – and provides very good depth – where required – so you can continue to use the book as a reference afterwards.  The book spends some time on Advanced topics (a chapter on each).  It’s not an Advanced book. For example – it has a chapter on Templates – but you can buy books dedicates solely to templates. However, I learned more form Hall’s 15 page Template chapter on the topic then I did in 75 pages of an Advanced JSP book.

>>> If it is not, kindly let me know other sources also from where I can learn.

I’ve spent the last few months looking for a good Advanced book – and have not found one yet (I just been wasting my money).

Hence – I recommend you start with Halls – and look for the Advance book in about 6 months.
