Nice to hear that, however our platform is Windows NT/2000 Server. Any JVM
supports multiple CPUs on Windows Platforms?

Yes it's possible.

Tomcat won't really notice what hardware you run it on (that's what
java is about after all). The key thing is to have a JVM that supports
multiple CPUs.

If you're using linux you might want to consider using the IBM kernel
threading stuff which maps multiple threads to one or more kernel
threads.
