Bhushan,
Aren't your machines in a secure network? I would think that your servers
would be protected by a firewall so that such security precautions would be
unnecessary. Otherwise, you could probably set up a VPN between the two
machines using (CheckPoint, Cisco, Agilent, etc. hardware).
