Hello, First thank you for your help for my question that if two servlet applications running on the same server can share the same hostname and port number.
This is a web-based application. I am thinking using the following tools: Backend database: MS Access Web server: Tomcat 3.2.3 Server side: Java servlets client side: Java Applet development enviroment: Jdk 1.3.1(running on Dos system) OS: windows 2000 I have following concerns that i have to consult with you about: 1. Is there any free jdbc driver which can create connection between java servlets and Ms Access? or How about jdbc-odbc bridge? I read some documentation about odbc that says if odbc is used, the user should set up the configuration of client side machine. Does that mean every user have to configurate his computers? Thanks in advance sincerely bin ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
