I know Jason Hunter covers UDP connections in "Java Servlet Programming, 2d. ed." (O'Reilly 2001), but I don't see it listed in the index. I remember reading about it, but not sure if it's of sufficient detail to help. Jason's website, www.servlets.com may be of some help, also. Finally, I got 1,740 hits from Google with "java servlets" + UDP.
Mark (Rolling On The Floor Laughing) -----Original Message----- From: Mike Marchywka [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 6:58 AM Does anyone have any links to resources on servlets that receive data from a UDP connection either directly by opening a DatagramSocket or indirectly by interacting with an application (native executable or other Java program ) that receives some kind of broadcast? Thanks. PS- ( non-encapsulated) [OT] btw, what is "ROTFL" supposed to stand for? fwiw, we need a FUA list somewhere.
