Also note that Microsoft's ASP technology uses very different internal represenations for elementary data-types like String's and Double's compared to Sun's Java. In fact in ASP you can store "Com(+)" objects in the session that and in Java you can store complex custom Java Objects. Gaining interoperablilty between these two technologies is quite a chalangeing task.
