i had experienced this once.
The classes for sql which come along with the jdk (default) are java.sql.*
but if you download the jdbc package separately than the package turns to javax.sql.
maybe they mean this is a standard extension available separately.

giving error that can not resolve sysbol.
pl. help me  regarding why i ma getting this error.and how can i rectify it
( currently i ma using jdk1.3 with jsdk2.1)
