Hi gurus,
We have a web application developed using servlets and jsps.
Two major functionalities are
1. View report - View the excel sheet report on the
Internet Explorer 6.0.2 Browser
2. Download report - Browser will popup a dialog to directly
save the report in to a file without viewing on the screen.
I am using Windows 2000 OS, Microsoft Excel 2000 and Internet
Explorer 6.0.2, the application is working fine. But for some of the end users
they can able to download the report, but they couldn't view the report. When
they click the view button, no operation on the browser and it is kind of stale
for long time. One of the user experienced the problem with the PC which has
same configuration of mine.
Actually to show the excel sheet, application is calling a jsp
file through the browser. Application is running on the Websphere appserver at
the back end (and oracle db server).
If anybody already came across this kind of problem and know
the solution, please help me.
