You can either run it as a service, or run it in a Command Prompt. However, there are many versions of Tail available for Win2k on the net, so that you can "tail" the output as I described earlier. We use this same method ourselves to view consoles of running VM's. Just search for "tail windows 2000" in google. eg: http://www.toolzz.com/ISATools/2000tools.htm http://www.worldofjon.com/softwarewin.html Best Regards, Neale Rudd metawerx java hosting http://www.metawerx.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rajamani M" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2004 10:45 PM Subject: (** Junk Rating: 1 **) Re: Tomcat 5.0 Console Redirecting > Hai Rudd, > > Thanks for your reply. > It is an external option and common to lookup the log files in the console. > Is there any option built in with tomcat 5.0 to do like that? > Even tail.exe is coming with windows 2003 version only. > Please tell me if it is there. > > Regards > Rajamani M > > > -----Original Message----- > From: A mailing list for discussion about Sun Microsystem's Java Servlet > API Technology.
