Your problem is most likely the absence of the sdk.. jre lacks things
like javac... and a host of other things. Reinstall it and see..

Following is an error that I get when I try to start the ServletExec
admin page. It was working at one time. I have installed Support Soft
Knowledge Center and an Oracle 9 client. I have not done anything with
Java since it was successfully working. The sdk directory, C:\j2sdk
1.4.2_06 is no longer there but there is a jre directory in c:\Program
Files\java. Can I use the jre directory. Any idea is appreciated.

Peter

ServletExec Initialization Failed Failed to get JNI environment (JavaHome =C:\j2sdk 1.4.2_06 ). The JavaHome value is read from the registry. If it is not correct then edit the registry and set the keys in the following location to the correct values: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft If JavaHome is correct then launch DBMON, restart the server and check for error messages in the DBMON console.
