Agreed. I'm having the same issue. I took a look at the XML and my template
is not referencing a hard coded ID property. Not sure what else to try.

Subject: [servman] [Servman] Exchange Connector v3 Key value of an object
cannot be changed

I got the Exchange Connector v3 up and running in SCSM 2012 SP1 and it is
creating new Incidents without a problem. However it will not update any
incidents, it always results in the following error:

Exchange Connector: Unable to process mail item. Subject="RE: Please provide
additional information for incident ID:[IR7424]", Error Message=The key value
of an object cannot be changed.

Looks like multiple people are having this error and the resolution for some
has been to create a new incident template to apply when updating. I've done
that as well as create new management packs for new templates and hacked the
XML to the point that the template is not even updating anything at all. All I
want the template to do is to update the status field.

Has anyone encountered this and solved it in other ways?
