After this issue not going away like I hoped I have setup Orchestrator and
begun looking into creating the runbook. Right now I'm just focusing on
checking for analysts' comments which I believe I have figured out via the
Monitor Object, class Trouble Ticket Analyst Comments, Entered date after
yesterday. How would you suggest kicking off the notification?

I'd like to keep the SCSM notifications so that it retains all the fields like
ID, affected user, status, description, etc... but don't see any Orchestrator
objects that would force SCSM to send the notification. Do I just need to use
the Exchange User pack to send an HTML email and have get objects to snag all
the fields I want?

Thanks,

We're a small shop and don't have Orchestrator setup as we don't have anyone
with time to manage it.

Have you considered the possibility of using Orchestrator to invoke a runbook
activity upon incident modification? The RBA would need to check each field
for modifications then kick off the notification to the user to alert them what
changed.

Thanks,

I realize this sounds stupid but I'm being forced to create a notification
subscription that will email the affected user, just one specific user luckily,
for any change made to any of their tickets.

I've been looking at notification subscriptions or workflows update settings
but can't find any field that will automatically be updated regardless of what
the analyst does. Does anyone have any ideas what field to use or another way
to get this, incredibly stupid and petty, task done?

Thanks in advance,
