The candidate will be evaluated under the following knowledge areas: - Main Linux distributions, including Debian. - Networking protocols: Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, routing - Network security: firewall, NAT, VPN - Linux Kernel: applying patches, internals, interfaces - Usual Linux server applications: Apache, Squid, MySQL, IpTables, etc... - Server and services monitoring: Cacti, Nagios - Programming: C, C and Lua. Including interfacing with the kernel in C. The candidate must be fluent on reading and writing in english. Please don t submit your resume if you are not.
