Job description
Software Tester will execute necessary tasks to fully test an IBM product or
system, ensuring it works according to the customer specifications and
requirements, and attaining to the business needs.
Testing activities cover all product/system aspects including
function/component, performance, system, regression and service. Possess
understanding of QA Methodology and employ appropriate standards to testing
procedures. A tester must demonstrate knowledge about the component they are
responsible for and must also be familiar with methodologies, tools and tests
techniques. Must be able to multitask and be flexible in order to meet project
deadlines.
Required
- Bachelor s Degree
- Required to posses excellent communication skills to work in a team
structure, as well as to work as an individual contributor.
- At least 1 year experience in testing methodology and tools.
- At least 1 year experience in at least 2 Operating Systems such as Windows,
Linux, AIX, etc.
- At least 1 year experience in database such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
and DB2
- Knowledge in xml structure
- English: Fluent
- Portuguese: Fluent
Preferred
- Experience in Testing Automation tools (such as Rational Functional Tester)
- Java
- Experience in IBM WebSphere and Oracle BEA Application server
Required
