Hi Cathy,

I am running:
Gigabyte motherboard with 512 L2, clocked at 95 mHz
K6-2/475
192 meg ram
ultra dma 66 drive
windows 2000 server

I run seti 3.03, "analasis always" is checked, with no screen saver so that
graphics don't get generated...I think this is the fastest way.

WU's take about 35 hours

To me, it's interesting that both my, and my girlfriend's (pentium
3/350/64meg), have always been much slower than what many others get. I have
run seti on '98, nt4 server and workstation, and on three different
motherboards, (one even has a 1meg L2)...but have always been slower than
what many others report.

I did see a speed increase when I changed from 98 to NT4, (NT4 is said to be
1/3 faster than 98)(but I think 95 might be faster than 98).

It's really beyond me why others process faster, even more baffelling because
many are on pentium which SHOULD be slower at math than a K6, (pent has more
on board graphics than a K6, but K6 better at math).

Let me know what you are finding as I'm extremely curious about this.

Thanks,
Chuck
