Hello Chris and Listers,

I can report with relative confidence that the SETI@home 'outage' is a
localized issue and not a campus-wide problem associated with a regional
power cut or university network difficulties.

UCB's main page @ http://www.berkeley.edu/ and its' site index @
http://www.berkeley.edu/a-z/a.html are up and running just fine, but the
Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence link @
http://seti.ssl.berkeley.edu/, the SETI@home link @
http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ and the Space Sciences Laboratory link @
http://ssl.berkeley.edu/ are all down for reasons unknown to me.

Report generated at 18:00 GMT (13:00 EST, USA).
