Wow, thanks for the outpouring of support. I think I am going to hold off
on any hardware updates. I'm a college student, one of the many with a thin
wallet if you know what I mean. I'm leery to switch around important stuff
like, might that void warranties and such? There really aren't any software
tweaks that I could do? I exit programs, turn off the screen saver (running
seti as always minimized, not as ss), disable Norton auto-protect. I've
downloaded setispy but I don't see the advantage seeing as it seems to need
to be open along with S@H, and wouldn't that just take up valuable computing
power? Jeff, what exactly is setiqueue, does it just record WU's, or does
it allow Seti to work faster? Have a good night.
