I would email the maintainers of the OSX installer directly.
I know absolutely nothing about the OSX installer.  Kamal and Tyrell Corp
know the OSX installer.  They should atleast sign up to the mailing list

Do you know if anyone from Tyrell or Kamal is reading this list?
We should get simon eisenman as well on this list.  I can handle
Windows issues.  Only "volunteer" time.  But atleast I can answer.
