Hi Alex, The error is instant. The browser the error occurs in is Firefox 1.0.7 on a windows xp box.
I've just tested it on IE 6 and when I click on save the browser tries to go to url: http://blahblahblah/portal_factory/File/file.2006blahblah/atct_edit but fails producing a standard "The page cannot be displayed" error. I've not seen this error before (to be honest I think I've only been testing this problem on Firefox). E.g I create a new "File', fill out > the information, browse to the file in question, click on the Save > button, the error appears and then the form never gets submitted. - Is the error message instant, or does it come after a while of uploading? - Have you tried different browsers? I have had uploading problems with IE on certain setups earlier. -- _____________________________________________________________________ Alexander Limi * Chief Architect * Plone Solutions * Norway Consulting * Training * Development * http://www.plonesolutions.com _____________________________________________________________________ Plone Co-Founder * http://plone.org * Connecting Content Plone Foundation * http://plone.org/foundation * Protecting Plone _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
