Keep it on the list, please.
Then you don't have the products in the right location. I recommend using
the Zope 2.8 package instead, and just dropping the tarball from plone.org
into the Zope products dir.
It's probably a packaging issue with the Debian install, half of our
install issues are from Debian people. Please contact the maintainer if it
doesn't work as it should.

Nope...
Product Management at /Control_Panel/Products doesn't show
anything containing "plone" or "cmf".
Do you know what the matter could be?

I set up Plone 2.0.x on zope 2.7 on debian sarge on a vserver.
"Plone Site" didn't appear in the Add menu no matter what I tried.
So I upgraded to testing and now have 2.1.2 on zope 2.8 on debian
(testing) but still have that same problem. Can you point me in
the right direction?
Go to the Control Panel and see if you find an entry in the
Products list called "CMFPlone". See if it shows a broken icon or
any other error messages.
