Alternatively you can do an "advanced search", tweaking it to get
exactly the results you want (date ordered, only certain content types,
excluding directories, etc). Every results page has an RSS feed just for
I looked at doing an advanced search, but I couldnt see a way to sort
it by date.
Should be able to do this using a Smart Folder as a canned search. Also
you can add query string params to an advanced search (if you know what
you are doing, although smart folder is easier).
