One other thing - we have users in LDAP, groups in Plone.
Thats because a PITA to set up groups in LDAP wuth GRUF.
And 2.5 appears to require a patch for groups to work in LDAP, and even
if it works fine, unofficial patches suck IMHO.
So that may be another difference why ours worked and yours didn't, if
you've managed to get your groups into LDAP.
