Yes - IIS is thick, and does not know how to proxy, so the solution I use is to move IIS to a non-standard port (9080), and install Apache. Apache is clever, and can combine proxy and rewrite rules - so you can have Apache on Port 80, and have it proxy/rewrite to both IIS and Zope/Plone (The virtual host set-up for IIS is very similar indeed to that documented for Plone). The other issue you may have to contend with is "Socket Pooling", which hogs Post 80 on all IPs for IIS's use - it can be turned off, but the way to turn it off varies between Win2K Server and Win2K3 Server. -- Regards, PhilK "Human language continually changes, innit." - Stephen Juan _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
