Hello.
When I set up LDAPUserFolder to use different LDAP attributes for login
name
and user ID, I have some issues with the "members" search tab.
The search result will present the login name below the black portrait
image,
not the user ID. I think the user ID should be shown.
The user ID is the name used for the user's home folder.
The user ID shown here is not clickable, so I cannot navigate to the home
folder.
Is this what is supposed to happen?
The rest is about my environment and what I have tried:
I am using the following:
Zope 2.8.8
Plone 2.5
LDAPUserFolder 2.7
LDAPMultiPlugins 1.3
I want to use a different id for login name and user id.
For the login name, I want to use our employee ID (all digits).
For the user id, I want to use the account name portion of
the e-mail address.
In my current test environment, both the employee ID and the
account name are stored in LDAP, so I have successfully set up
LDAPUserFolder to handle the different IDs.
The problem I have noticed so far is the above search issue.
