From plone.org, webslinger appears to be an alpha release that was
posted only a month ago, so a bit bleeding edge maybe?
If you can't get that to work, had you considered this approach :
Enable ftp in zope.conf, then on the same box if its *nix (OS X, Linux
etc) , or from an external *nix box, run a script something like this :
#/bin/sh
ftp myplonesite.net <<!!
mypassword
cd whereyouwanttobe
mput *lotsoffiles.*
bye
!!
(Might also be do-able on a Windows box with cygwin....)
In other words simulate a bulk ftp upload.
Above script may need some tweaking to get to work . I've definitely
made things like that work in the past, not specifically with plone but
with other ftp servers.
