Hi there,

I am just in the process of upgrading my old plone installation (plone
2.1., zope 2.7.6) to the current plone 2.5.2 and zope 2.9.6 releases.

What I did was as follows:
- - installed python 2.4 (i was using 2.3 for the old install), zope and
plone from source
- - mirgated database
- - run migration script in my zope instance.

All worked without any problem. The migration script did not show any
error. The site is up and running without a problem except:

I do have one folder named "plone" in my plone instance. If I try to
call this folder I do get the following error (?) message:
        <Products.Five.metaclass.Plone object at 0xb1db7e8c>
Any subfolder of this folder is not acessible and gives an error 404.

Try googling for "Products.Five.metaclass.Plone" and you will find
certain pages showing a similar problem. Also see this thread, albeit
without a solution:
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.zope.plone.user/60735

And now? Any ideas what might be the reason for this issue? Or how to
fix the problem? Tracbacks I can not provide. I just do not get any!

thanks and cu,
Michael
