Ok, figured this out on my own. Turns out the 2 LDAP sources I had setup
for user authentication didn't like going from 2.1.2 to 2.5.2. Once I
deleted the LDAP sources in my original site, then migrated the Data.Fs,
everything worked fine.

Not yet, unless I'm missing something, I can't get to it. When I go into
the ZMI, then select my Plone Site....instead of being able to select
Portal_Migration then Migrate, I get the below error message.
 
Even though when I select my Plone site I don't get any of the normal
root info in the right pane of the ZMI, I am able to expand my plone
site in the left pane and see some of my high level folders. If I select
any of the folders underneath the primary site, I get the same or very
close error message.
