I've tried to install LDAPUserFolder 2.7 (from
http://www.dataflake.org/software/ldapuserfolder/ldapuserfolder_2.7) and and
LDAPMultiPlugins 1.4. (from plone.org, with patches).
They won't compile/install properly, so I tried LDAPUserFolder on it's own
(because I see looking into the __init__.py of LDAPMultiPlugins that it is a
prerequisite) and get the following error:
2007-03-22T14:39:57 ERROR Zope Could not import Products.LDAPUserFolder

And what is your Plone version? 2.5?

Okay, the base is good then.

I am not sure what you mean here. Do you mean that when you click on
Show All Users nothing is shown? Or probably: that this button is not
even displayed? The display of that button is governed by this
setting:
ZMI > portal_properties > site_properties > many_users
If you have many users (say, a few hundred) then it just costs too
much time to display them all.

Which KeyError is that?
Probably you need to change some settings in
ZMI > acl_users > plugins
The de facto standard documentation on Plone 2.5 plus LDAP is this
document by Wichert Akkerman:
http://plone.org/documentation/how-to/plone-2-5-and-openldap-integration-for-users-and-groups
Also, you might like this product that helps you configure Plone with
LDAP, which also has some documentation:
http://plone.org/products/ldapconfig
Especially, you may be helped by some hints about which plugins to use:
https://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/ldapconfig/trunk/docs/PLUGINS.txt
Note: I wrote that product. :)
