You did not say what version of Plone, or how far you got already, but
if you install PloneLDAP you'll be able to add a ActiveDirectory plugin
in acl_users . There is a helpful README in PloneLDAP.
The stages are,
1 get the ActiveDirectoryMultiplugin connecting to your AD so you can
see users and groups in Zope
2 configure the ActiveDirectoryMultiplugin through the ZMI so it
provides the functions you need in your Plone site.
That is for 2.5.x. May be subtly different for Plone 3.
